IX International Congress on Research and Innovation UNINAVARRA - IX CIII-2026

"Digital Tools and Technologies for Sustainable Development and Higher Education."

This event is organized by the Navarra University Foundation - UNINAVARRA through its Research and Innovation Center UNINAVARRA - CIINA. The congress will be held in hybrid mode (face-to-face and online) in the city of Neiva (Huila), Colombia, during August 26th, 27th and 28th, 2026.

The IX CIII-2026 is projected as the epicenter of vanguard in the southern region of Colombia for the integration of digital solutions that drive sustainable development and the transformation of higher education. In this edition, the congress will have the honor of hosting the Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Postgraduate Update Conference, which will be focused on the health needs identified in our region and the latest medical advances of global impact. Likewise, the event will be the setting for the Update Days of each of UNINAVARRA's undergraduate programs, fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue between basic training and professional specialization.

The event will feature national and international keynotes with interactive Q&A sessions, training workshops on digital tools, exhibition of innovative projects, and ample opportunities to networking. These interactions will allow participants from different latitudes to exchange advances on educational digitalization and care management, demonstrating in a practical way how technologies optimize training and ethical social impact.

This congress has established itself as a vital space for the social appropriation of knowledge and the public dissemination of science. Thanks to the success of its eight previous versions, the event continues its exponential growth in the number of attendees and world-renowned speakers, who allow presenting in southern Colombia current research that responds to the challenges of health and sustainability.

Objective:

Contribute to the social appropriation of knowledge and public dissemination of advances in scientific research and innovation related to the use of digital tools and technologies, the strengthening of higher education and specialized medical updating in response to regional health needs and sustainable development.
